All rates are per-night cash to owner plus Transient Accommodations Tax “TAT” (currently 8.25%) & General Excise Tax “GET” (currently 4.166%). The State of Hawaii is raising the TAT tax rate as follows:
- 7/1/10 ⇒ 9.25%
- Agency or Guest pays credit card fees
- 50% of total gross rate & tax due to owner within the earlier of 11 days of reserving or 45 days of arrival
- 50% of total gross rate & tax plus security deposit, check out cleaning fee due to owner within 45 days of arrival
- Up to 8 guests maximum (including toddlers)
- Security deposit is $5,000
